Background. The object of the research is details made of the high-test constructional steel brand 30HGSN2A. The subject of the research is distribution of residual stress in depth of the facial layer as a result of work-hardering treatment by shot. The purpose of the research is to analytically estimate distribution of residual stress in depth of the facial layer of details made of high-strenght steels during manufacturing and repairing.
